Our resident guide

Mike has been fishing and guiding trips on the Gulkana River for the past 15 years.  He lives locally and is also the Chief of the Gakona Volunteer Fire Department.  Mike is very knowledgeable of the Gulkana River and knows all the best holes that King Salmon like to hold up in.

Joe Lang

Joe has been fishing the Gulkana River for the last 21 years.  He has been a professional guide on the Gulkana River for the past 10 years. 

We also have a close relationship with several other excellent guides when both Mike and Joe are booked.

 Guide Prices

Our King Salmon guided fishing trips leave from our park and return to our park thanks to our new for 2008 jet powered 8 man inflatable boat.*  For King Salmon trips, we charge $195 per person, two person minimum and that includes a two night stay in our park in a river front RV space.  On our Sockeye Salmon fishing trips, we drift fish from our park's launching ramp down to the Gulkana River bridge.   Our charge for Sockeye Salmon trips on the Gulkana River is $195 per person, two person minimum.   We only use local guides with years of experience on the Gulkana River and other local rivers.
