Alaska Salmon Fishing Paradise

WELCOME TO THE GULKANA RIVER PRESERVE, a 155 ACRE PRIVATE FISHING AND CAMPING PRESERVE ACCESSIBLE BY PERMIT ONLY.

We wish to thank all our loyal customers who have visited our fishing preserve during the past years.  We are eliminating guided fishing in order to concentrate on our goal of selling the remaining permits.  From now on, only permit holders and the preserve owners will be allowed to use the preserve facilities.  Any one interested in using the preserve prior to purchasing a lifetime permit can obtain a one time trial permit for $150. This is a self guided stay so bring your own raft or fish from our bank. If you check out the videos on our site, you will see that fishing from our bank is very productive. Our preserve is truly a fishing paradise. We are hoping that after you experience our preserve, you will consider buying one of the 6 river front sites we have left.  Don't worry, no one will bother you during your stay unless YOU are interested in a site.

Fishing for all other species is allowed through the summer.

Aside from excellent fishing, the area abounds with wildlife and breathtaking scenery.  A variety of amenities including hotels, B&B’s, restaurants, gas stations and Laundromats are located nearby.
